Software company Mamut expands its collaboration with security company Symantec to include all Nordic countries, and the Baltic states, writes DN Ajour.
This means that all Symantec customers in these countries can download the e-commerce solution Mamut for free when they start using their anti-virus product.
The collaborative agreement between Norwegian Mamut and American Symantec, which was entered into in May this year, has been so successful that the companies now are going to collaborate on a grander scale. The agreement encompasses mutual sales of the companies’ products, both parties will market the collaboration through relevant channels and several of Symantec’s anti-virus products are sold with solutions from Mamut. In the long run, the goal is to expand the collaborative agreement to also include Symantec’s other markets.
The Mamut Corporation is Norway’s leading provider of business administration and e-commerce solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, and has more than 50,000 daily users of its products, writes DN Ajour.
