Microsoft’s new version of the Office package, Office XP, has reached the shops. Norwegian Mamut offers all Office XP users a tightly integrated CRM module completely free, writes Kapitaldata.
Unbeatable offer
Microsoft Norway launched Office XP together with their partner, Mamut. Mamut introduced an offer that was almost too good to be true. Office XP users worldwide are offered Mamut CRM for Office XP – a free CRM and e-commerce solution aimed at the SME market.
The solution integrates customer relationship management (CRM) with the company’s web site. All activities from the web are automatically transferred to the CRM application. The solution keeps track of customers, contacts, activities, documents and projects.
However, the tight integration with Office XP is one of the strongest advantages of the solution. Mamut CRM for Office XP includes an all-in-one solution for Internet profiling, free space on Mamut’s server, web shop and domain name, writes Kapitaldata.
The solution is available in eight languages (Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, English, German, Spanish, Finnish and Dutch) and can be downloaded for free at www.mamut.com/freecrm. Those who order before 1 July, get the solution for free. Users also get a service agreement with free user support for the year 2001. If you want to keep using the solution after 2001, you have to get at new service agreement. The price isn’t exactly discouraging, – nine USD a month, writes Kapitaldata.
“By giving out the software for free we are helping businesses to get started and experience the potential. We get new users, valuable feedback on our products and the opportunity to offer more advanced solutions to those who need it”, says Hanoa. At the same time Microsoft gets valuable help in selling Office XP to the SME market, writes Kaptialdata.
Free CRM software from Mamut is a good reason for small businesses to upgrade to Office XP, writes Kaptialdata. But you have to be quick; the offer ends at 1 July.
