“We are pleased with the growth in new sales, and expect a continued growth in 2001 within all our business areas”, says Eilert Hanoa, CEO of Mamut.
The first quarter revenue ended at MNOK 21.1 compared to MNOK 16.0 in 2000, a 32 percent increase. License sales grew by 25 percent, but international investments contributed to an operating result of MNOK –4.9.
International launch
In April, Mamut is launching a new product range, which features the first standard solution for small businesses that offers seamless integration of web site and CRM/accounting systems. The solution will be launched in five languages during the second quarter in collaboration with international partners.
The launch of the new product range and the cooperation with a series of international partners such as Compaq and Verio give Mamut a good foundation for becoming a European provider of complete CRM and e-commerce solutions to small businesses.
During 2000 Mamut signed a number of important partnership agreements with, among others, Cisco, Compaq, Microsoft, Symantec, Verio and WorldPay. Mamut’s products have received a number of awards and Mamut was recently chosen as the e-commerce solution provider for Compaq’s new B2B portal in Germany, theSource. Mamut has 130 employees as of April 2001.
